Blessings to everyone and hope you all are enjoying the final days of the Summer season. September is a month of shifts and changes and from what I have been hearing from many..that is exactly what is happening with each of us!
As mentioned in my last newsletter and coinciding with the seasons and shifts, there are changes happening here at HBH as well. Changes that we and many others are very excited about. Just as in life we heal, grow and evolve so it is with Heron Brook Haven. We are now Non-profit within Vermont and the 501c3 with the IRS is pending. This is something that opens many doors for us and along with all the changes there will also be lots that remains the same. We let go of what no longer suits us and we hold onto and honor what helps us go forward and is working for us.
One of our goals which is already in the process of becoming a reality is to offer a residential healing program in a spiritual community setting for anyone who has suffered abuse or trauma of any kind. This will be a transitional program and we are ever so grateful for all our friends and healers who are already on board to volunteer, work and help us out with this project and dream. We are going forward and trusting that this will develop, be supported by donations, grants and friends from all over and turn out to be just what it is meant to be..
On Oct. 31st we are hosting a Healing & Music Festival here at Heron Brook Haven as a celebration and charity event to raise funds for this project. There will be workshops, belly dancers, Tarot readings, Storytelling and a concert by the wonderful ladies from Telling Point of Ohio!!! The day will finish with a Fire Celebration Circle of Drumming, dancing, storytelling and anything else anyone wishes to share!! All this will be offered for one low admittance fee! Stay tuned for full details!!If you would be interested in hosting a workshop or being a vendor that day...please contact me so we can work out details.
We are continuing to offer healing and counseling sessions. We will also continue with our retreats & Sweatlodges, Nature's Way program, Wheel Ceremonies and the monthly healing and drum circles. We are bringing back the fun and wonder of our Dream circle!!!...this will be the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month beginning in Oct....full details available on website calendar. Which brings up the fact that as we go through this transition our website will be changing..it will become .org and we will let you know when this happens as there is much to do to get this switch accomplished.
Sister Sweat!! on Sept 25. We are starting the Fire and placing the Stones at about 10am. As the Moon is waning and we enter the time of the waning year it is a wonderful opportunity to share sacred space with your sisters and cleanse and purify. This is filling up so be sure to contact us and reserve your space.

Sept 18...Time For Letting Go Workshop...2-5 pm...an experiential workshop to help you release and rebirth.
Sept. 26...Adventures In Dreaming...2-4 pm...a fun and experiential workshop to guide you to understanding and working with what your Dreams are trying to tell you.
